We would love for you to come and join our family for worship and fellowship with Taproot Church!

A little about us. My wife Kristin and I were born and raised in King County just miles apart but we didn't meet until our early twenties. Our paths crossed in Seattle when Kristin was at the UW and I was interning at the church she was a member of. Since 2009 we've served in various ministries separately and together, continuously figuring out what it looks like for us to follow Jesus as one. Many manual labor jobs, kids, and degrees from Moody Bible Institute and Reformed Theological Seminary later our family settled down in Burien near family. We have three children and together our family loves Jesus, His people and the community that God has placed us in.

beliefs

We embrace a fundamentally evangelical and reformed identity. Our confessional statement is adapted from the foundational documents of the Gospel Coalition

acts 29 network

Taproot Church is proud to serve alongside the hundreds of other churches within the Acts 29 Network. The mission of Acts 29 is to band together churches which, for the sake of Jesus and the gospel, plant new churches and replant dead and dying churches around the world. This work is done in obedience to the great commission (Matt. 28:18-20) with the goal of seeing millions of lives changed by the power of the good news of Jesus Christ.
