Except you become as little children you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. I've often wondered why some people can't see that there is a God. After all every design has a designer. Every thing about creation tells of the design by God. The logic of mankind tries to explain it by some other reason in order to prove that God doesn't exist, but the faith of a little child throws all of that useless logic away and knows simply that the Father has provided as fathers often do.

I'm passing this along to my wife as her father and mother also do not know the lord.

It takes the raw emotions of our children to so unabashedly show us the pain that we keep bottled up inside for our dear loved ones.

On this National Day of Prayer, I will pray for your father and all the lost souls to have the Holy Spirit come and convict them, to reveal to them their true relationship with our almighty God, and his beautiful plan of love for us where by he sent his son to rescue us from an eternity of separation from Him.

I'm often amazed how the simplest ideas are often the most profound, and they almost always come from children. If I had to guess, it's probably because children don't have ego or pride or self-doubt to cloud their thoughts. When their minds work, they don't think about how their ideas will impress others; they just think.

Kid's don't get an idea like this and then back up so say, "oh wait, trees don't have hearts, that's silly." No, they say, "why wouldn't a tree have a heart?"

If any attempt by an adult is made to dig into the logical scientific facts of horticulture, the child simply looks at the tree, sees it dancing or clapping, and sticks to their idea that all created things have life and the ability to worship their creator... end of story.

How I wish I could think more like that profound little child.
