Musings on this Miracle

Taproot is a miracle. In 8 months this group of missionaries ranging anywhere from 5-85 has completely turned 180 degrees. As the quasi-catalyst in this endeavor I must confess how absolutely thankful I have been to be called to such a missionally minded group of people. This church has whole heartedly embraced youthful recklessness with abandon to the point of ear plugs on Sunday mornings, an appreciation for an off balance black and white church logo that is far from religiously ornate, a pastor who can’t find close toed shoes to save his life, and an explosion of zealous 25 and unders vigorously taking up the seats. This post is a thank you to those of you who once called yourselves Trinity, to those who are now Taproot, and to Jesus Christ the miracle worker of restoration, regeneration, and replantation!!! Is replantation a word? Love you guys.

Yessss! It’s totally awesome just seeing the change that has come to the church. And looking out, seeing all the young people is… well, something I never thought would happen. 8 months and still there hasn’t been a Sunday where no one showed up :)

I love this church!
God Bless!

Danny, how good it is to see the and read the wonderful things God is doing. I literally tear up as I read the posts and see the faithfulness of the Lord.

We love you guys.
